Patient Reference Group

Patient Reference Group Update

We are forming a 'virtual PRG' by which your involvement in the group would be in the form of email; this will allow you to be a virtual member of the PRG, receive information via email, take part in and influence the changes and processes of your health care at a time that fits in with your commitments.
If you would like to join the virtual PRG please send an email to with Join Virtual PRG in the subject box.

The Practice has a Patient Reference Group (PRG); representatives from the Practice population who have volunteered to meet every six weeks. The group are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services we provide, they are involved in decisions that lead to changes in procedure. They instigate and influence additional enhancements / alterations that may assist patients in accessing the service. Annually the Group assess the outcomes of the National Practice Survey. The Survey evaluates the views of our patients and the results are on display in the waiting area.

Should you wish to be involved with the PRG or request their assistance with a service that you receive or would like to receive from the Practice or you would like to simply contact them or find out when the next meeting is, you can do so by emailing: please enter PRG in the subject line or contact the surgery and a member of the group will contact you in return. There is also a suggestion box in the waiting area on the wall, mail for the PRG can be placed in the box and it will be forwarded to them.
