Telephone Lines Posted on 24 Aug 2017

We are receiving consistent feedback that it is difficult to get through on the 'phone lines. Although we have as many lines as possible and they are very busy most of the time the recent problems that patients are identifying are not being identified by the technicians as a fault on the system. In order to try and address this we are looking at the possibility of installing an automated answering system that will notify the caller of their position in that calling queue. I trust this is an acceptable solution to the majority of our patients,however, if you have other ideas or solutions that we could adopt I will be happy to receive your comments if you would like to drop me a line or give me a call at the surgery.
